Join us for a great day of golf at Brookwoods Golf Club! Your support shows our participants that the RVA community cares and wants them to thrive and succeed on their recovery journey! REMINDER: This event will include a 50/50 raffle and other raffle prize drawings! Lunch and dinner will be included with all foursome team tickets.
In reflection, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who lent their support to the Larry Roberts Golf for Recovery Tournament last year. It was a beautiful tribute to the remarkable life of Larry Roberts, whose presence continues to echo in the hearts of many since his passing in February 2023.
With over three decades of commitment, Larry stood as a beacon within our recovery community, offering guidance and inspiration to countless individuals. Larry was our Founder and Executive Director, Michael Tillem's, sponsor and his influence was profound in Michael's recovery journey. Larry's receipt of an infinity medallion, symbolizing his active engagement in recovery until his final days, speaks volumes about his dedication.
Larry possessed a rare vision, one rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe haven to embrace a flourishing life of recovery. His pivotal role in shaping what is now the Journey House Foundation is a testament to his unwavering dedication. As a cherished board member of the Foundation, proprietor of ZenRenity Farms, and cherished friend to many, Larry's impact reverberates far and wide.
The memories we hold of Larry are precious treasures, each one a testament to his spirit and compassion. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy endures through the lives he touched and the principles he embodied.
As we gather once more for this golf tournament, let us remember Larry with fondness and gratitude.
